Enter your machine + inputs

Ingredients, cycle time, packaging, direct labor, overhead, CapEx, tax rate — pre-filled with sensible defaults so you can iterate fast.

2

What's inside

Every part earns its keep.

Unit-level economics

True cost per unit — food, packaging, energy, labor, overhead — with every input traceable back to a source assumption.

Pro-Forma statement

Revenue / COGS / OpEx / CapEx / Taxes / Net profit rows just like a real income statement. Printable and disclaimer-footed.

Break-even + payback

How many units before you cover the machine? How many months until the loan pays itself off? Answered in one card.

Sensitivity analysis

How much does your margin move if selling price drops 10%? If food cost jumps 20%? The tornado chart lays each variable side by side so you can see which levers actually matter — it looks like a tornado because the biggest impacts are the widest bars at the top.

Multi-machine capacity

Planning to scale from one unit to a small operation? Model how many machines you need by feeding in your cycle length, batches per week, and target monthly output — the calculator does the math and tells you the minimum number of machines you'll need to hit your goal.

AI business summary

One-click plain-English summary of your plan — like a Chief Financial Officer reading your model in 60 seconds and pointing out the challenges to plan around.

Who it's for

Built for real operators.

First-time entrepreneurs

You know you can sell 20 bags at the farmers market. Is this a business? The calculator tells you honestly, in numbers.

Cottage kitchen operators

You're licensed and shipping. Time to raise prices? Add a second machine? Buy a bigger unit? Model each scenario side-by-side.

Investors + accountants

A defensible pro-forma to hand to a lender or CPA — with printable disclaimers and traceable assumptions.

FAQs

Common questions.

Do the numbers replace an accountant?

Absolutely not — the tool prints a disclaimer on every page. It gives you a *starting* pro-forma that's easy to hand to a professional for verification. Verify with a CPA before making real decisions.

Can I save multiple plans?

Yes — save as many named plans as you like and compare them side by side. Great for A/B'ing pricing strategies or machine choices.

How does the sensitivity analysis work?

For each input (price, food cost, cycle time, utilization) we sweep it ±20% while holding others constant and plot the effect on net margin. It surfaces the 2-3 levers that actually matter for your specific model.

Does it handle multi-machine capacity?

Yes — tell the calculator how many machines you own (or plan to buy) and it will model your combined weekly and monthly output. It also works in reverse: give it your target monthly output and it tells you how many machines you need.
